This explains what Bisaya Daily ("we") collects when you use Bisaya Daily, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Your name, email and country, when you pay.
- Your progress through the content, so the members area can pick up where you left off.
- Messages and files you send through support.
- A sign-in key on your device, and notification settings if you turn them on.
We don't collect your card details: Stripe handles payment. We don't use advertising cookies, and our site statistics don't use cookies at all.
Our emails
If you join our email list (or become a member or customer, where the law allows us to email you about similar things), we keep your email address, your name if you give it, when and how you signed up, the time zone your browser reports (so our emails arrive at a sensible hour), and which kinds of email you've chosen.
Our emails tell us whether they were opened and which links were clicked (with a small image and links that pass through our site), so we can send what's useful and stop emailing people who aren't reading. When you click a link to our site we set one cookie for 7 days, so a purchase can be matched to the email that led to it; it isn't used for advertising.
Every email has an unsubscribe link that works in one click, and a page where you can choose which kinds of email you get. You can also reply to any email and ask us to remove you or delete what we hold.
Who processes it for us
- Stripe (payments)
- Cloudflare (hosting, storage and video)
- Resend (email delivery)
How long we keep it
We keep your account details while you're a member and for as long as the law requires for tax records after that. Backups roll over after 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email bisayadaily@gmail.com.
